Iczer-1: Special Compilation

Another thing that I had no idea existed for this franchise until recently was a Compilation Movie version of Iczer-1.

And it's almost exactly as one might expect: Just all three episode glued together into one movie. Key word being "almost" though. Had it actually been that I'd say that it'd be the best way to watch Iczer-1.

While most of the new stuff is just very minor lines of dialogue to help the transition between each episode be smoother, they make one change that I personally think is rather major: Moving the scene that reveals the origins of the Cthulhu to the very start of the film, and thus removing its status as a twist.

So, ultimately, I personally think it's better to watch the show as three separate episodes rather than one hour and a half long film. But, if that change isn't one that you feel would bother you all too much, then yeah, I can easily see people disagreeing and saying that the film version is the best way to go about it. As long as it's being watched, right?
