Well, Rintarou was my favorite Swordsman, so I have faith that Lance can live up to his counterpart. Maybe you could keep Lance's backstory of being an orphan raised by SOL, since that would give a connection to his namesake Lancelot and set up the possibility for his father to appear if you adapt Trio of Deep Sin.

Sophia in the show felt like an unlikely wielder of Kurayami to me, so maybe in your adaption, she could have a development arc of her own like Kento had when he was Calibur, deciding to risk her own life for the sake of the world due to valuing her life less as a clone.

Mei was always eager to contribute and be more useful to SOL, so I imagine Sami could ask to be trained with Kurayami so she could fight alongside the Swordsmen.

Episode 1: A young boy named Trevor has been having dreams of his lost past, that were forgotten from his mind. After the battle, a young man in blue appears before Trevor & Sami, demanding the book and sword returned. Refuses to do due to his lost memories that he wishes to reclaim, the man named Lance then takes Trevor to their base under the orders of those in charge. Trevor finds the base like a library in the North Pole as he is introduced to their leader & mentor: Sophia.

Btw: due to a lack of monsters, the creators need to make more to make up for COVID's disruption.

The convenient thing about Megid being based on books is that, you can easily make new MOTWs based on anything you want!
