Yes, I got it wrong. The seasons are very similar. But I disagree about the arсs. Previous seasons like Agito, Ryuki, Faiz, Blade, Kabuto, Kiva had a plot but no story arcs. Plus, there's a difference between bringing something in and making it mainstream. For example, in the MCU, the preponderance of jokes was already in the first Avengers, but they turned into action-comedy only after the success of the Guardians of the Galaxy.
