Which is fine? I don't mind them treating Izu as an active participant in the combat portions of the storytelling, rather than some sort of Progrise Sommelier that hovers around the experience.

Sure, it's a bit of a hijacked form, which is interesting. We've seen the Ark suits take Hiden designs and co-opt them; now we get to find out what happens when Hiden co-opts Ark designs. Fun concept to explore, even if the finished product isn't my thing.

One of the things this episode never really gets into to my satisfaction is that Raiden didn't know he was a spy. Subaru's like My Brother Was A Spy and Team Aruto's like But He Was Also You Brother... instead of being like HE DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS A SPY. I feel like that's a distinction - that the Raiden Subaru knew was 100% dedicated to both his job and his family - that's relevant to the discussion they're having?
