Well, it is a filler episode, after all. Sonoza getting First Love Hero is probably the only part that will have an impact later. But hey, you should be grateful that the Sentai threads get even this amount of discussion. Soon, I fully expect to continue my passionate review of Dino Fury Season 2 to an audience of like, two people.

If it's any consolation though, here are a few of my miscellaneous thoughts about this episode:

Could Saruhara and Kijino have used their magic glasses to see Minako? Considering how she can summon a Hitotsuki and physically interact with Don Robotarou and Inubrother, it seems like she's more tangible in the Noto Layer than she is in the human world.

It's humorous how Inuzuka revealed his identity so casually to a girl he just met, while his own teammates are still completely out of the loop. Classic Inoue!

Tadokoro Shinzou's actor is the same guy who voiced Ginis in Zyuohger!

Don Dragokuu's use of Ninninjer Alter in his fight scene with Murasame was a cool surprise, since I didn't know those Alters could grow to human-size.

I hope Murasame gets some plot development soon. While I enjoy his action and style, all he does so far is show up and fight people without even talking to them, which is kind of boring and repetitive to me.

Engineki is the first Hitotsuki based on a 00s Sentai and it happens to be first one I ever watched!
