I do want to mention something that's been bothering me for a while: in this day and age, why would Bandai go for a belt that such a large cast (5+) all use?

-It's not like it hasn't been done before, of course. Even tho some Riders upgrade (or switch back and forth) to other Drivers, well over half of Gaim's cast use the Sengoku Driver, but that's pretty much the last time that's happened? We're sure to get a in-universe explaination(all riders are part of the same faction or whatever), but what's the mindset of those toymakers making it?

For the consumer, it feels like a no-brainer: the average household will probably only buy a single DX Driver (the protag's). Having a driver compatible with roughly 70% of the cast will probably encourage said average household to buy more gimmicks, since the driver's compatible with all of that, right? But like.....that doesn't feel right?

Pardon me, I'm not too familar with the toy side of the franchise (I don't collect anything and I don't plan to anytime soon), but...Rider seems like a brand acutely aware of its older collectors and always trying to find ways to squeeze some coin out of them, no? Under the assumption that Geats will end with 9-12 Riders (roughly the average now these days), having more than 3+ Riders share the same belt seems like one is actively trying to avoid making an extra buck..

Who knows what the future holds, though. Maybe half the cast switches to a new belt later on, maybe everything we know about the Driver is made up, perhaps Bandai already has a way to maximize the shit out of the new gimmick in terms of profit. It just seems kinda strange to me,,
