I definitely think one area where Trigger was lacking was in focusing on the entire cast. Like, nobody in GUTS-Select other than Kengo, Akito, or Yuna got any real focus episodes whereas usually in an Ultra show every member of the Defense Force gets at least one focus episode.

The best we got was the Marluru clip show or episode 18.
