This news is slowly starting to circulate. Could've put it in one of the preexisting Star Trek threads, but this seemed to too important to relegate there.

She was 89 and she passed away from natural causes.

She paved a path when it was so difficult for so many. She had her doubts, but Dr. King helped her through it.
