It does, which only reinforces my questions:

Seriously? Geats is the only one that will actually use two of the more advanced buckles? What a waste of the Driver's functionality.
Why are they making the Secondary's ID Core so hard to get?
Why does Daipan not even get an ID Core at all?

Surprisingly this wouldn't be Toei's first foray with this idea as the LupinX megazord in LuPat literally does this mid-fight to switch between its two modes.
