Like, I always talk about mixing finishers and this is one of them. Yua going for a Rider Kick, realizing that's not going to cut it and then shooting Gai in the face at near point blank range? Really good!

That entire fight scene was *chef's kiss*. This was one of those posts where I really only wanted to talk about one thing, but rest assured that I was not blind to all of the other absolutely terrific things in this episode. Love-Chan was great, the parallel subplot about projecting your interests/values/enthusiasm on others was expertly deployed, and the absolutely rousing finish of Valkyrie and Vulcan teaming up to kick a heretofore-unknown seventh shade of shit out of Thouser was very, very welcome.

I thought this one was pretty great, front to back.
