Now up to 18. And man, Javi got the short end of the stick on this block, what with him not getting a single focus episode out of it. Although man, that subtext with him dressing as his dad for Halloween. Yikes.

Then again, I guess someone had to take a backseat given that this chunk of the show features the debut of the Gold Ranger and all. Aiyon is an interesting addition to the cast, although I gotta say, when it came to the past conflict he had with Zayto, I was 100% on Zayto's' side. It's not as though Zayto's' decision to release the Sporix was made with any ill intent, and he did immediately try to rectify the mistake via leading the knights in the charge against them. Like, yeah, technically it is Zayto's' fault that the initial purge happened, but without him the Sporix wouldn't have been resealed in the first place. Hardly something to call him a bad person/leader over.

This chunk also featured the (in)famous episode 13, wherein we learn who Izzy falls in love with. And, man, it's so incredibly disappointing(and kinda funny) that people got so up in arms over this episode considering it's written like alot of other "secret crush" stories and the most that Izzy and Fern do is hold hands. Very sweet and innocent. And was very happy to see the show portray LGBT people as just a normal aspect of life.

Aaannd that's about all I got in terms of specifics. Each episode has just been a decent bit of character development for our main cast, with the only other thing that stands out being how Amelia, the Pink Ranger, is the one to unlock the group's' super mode, which is pretty unique. Reminded me of how Chloe was the one to get the Battlizer in Hyper Force.
