I'm glad they didn't bitch out and come up with a manner of Vice surviving. Kudos.

Anyway, I don't really have too many positives about Revice. Between the overall weak plot, the characters that tended to get lost in the constant shuffle, and just a general air of annoyance, I'm quite glad the show is over. Their need to reach 50 episodes really was their downfall, since they barely had 30 episodes of plot, making them stretch things out, or in the case of Ikki's amnesia, just forget about it for large swaths at a time.

It wasn't all bad. The family dynamic was a nice touch, Hiromi is still a personal favorite character of mine, and I actually enjoyed Daiji's stint as a villain, but the overall experience was one of just disappointment. Vice refusing to let Ikki grow by constantly reinforcing his negative traits, and everyone around him telling him that "It's weird when you're not butting in, so keep doing it."

Characters feel wasted (Tamaki could've been the one to help rescue Hana, but nawh. Now she's annoyingly obsessive over Sakura for ship bait. Genta could've had a larger role, but instead he spent literally half the series indisposed. Literally everything involving Hikaru), and it's really rather clear that the writing team wasn't expecting so many characters to actually be relevant, so they just tossed their hands in the air.

Also, while Revice didn't lean on it as hard as others, but between this, Zenkaiger, and Donbrothers, I'm kind of sick of anniversary seasons
