Alright, let's get into my thoughts. Copying and pasting this from a comment I made on a r/Kamen Rider post:

The Characters:

- Ikki and Vice were good, but felt sidelined a lot to focus on side characters. They do make up for some of it by having some strong emotional moments, but overall could've benefited from having better focus. Which is unfortunate, since they're the protagonists and all.

- Daiji's character arc could've been done a lot better. Trim it down, change some aspects, anything. It kind of meandered for too long.

- Sakura kind of suffered from too much focus but remaining kind of static. Not to say that static characters are bad, but the amount of focus she could get kind of emphasized it. I still like her, but she could've had less focus.

- Hana and Tamaki were also good, but after their Deadmans stint, kind of didn't have much going on for either of them. I do like them, but I wish they had something better to do than what they got.

- Genta and Yukimi were great, and I felt like some of the strongest moments came from them. Especially the Destream and Crimson Vail fight, hands down one of the best fights there is.

- George was a fun, if inconsistent, character. I do think that they had something great with his strained relationship with his father, but that it could've used some more thought than what we got, especially with the whole 'sorry son but my demon was probably why you were kind of an ass earlier in the series' excuse.

- Hiromi has a great presence. At first I wasn't so sure of how I felt about him, but after a while and especially after he became Demons, I loved him. Glad we're getting a V-Cinema for him, I will buy the SHF of that inevitable Demons upgrade, even if it'll most likely be a retool (maybe of Destream or something).

- Hikaru isn't AS bad as some people think he is in my opinion, but he suffers the most from a lack of focus. He had some potential with the whole 'my family is fake but my love for them is real' angle, but it didn't get the time it needed.

- Olteca was the strongest villain we had, and I wish he hadn't been taken out in the middle of the series. Akaishi wasn't bad, per say, but I didn't enjoy him as much as I did with Olteca. I know that Olteca was the 'second in command' for Akaishi, but he had such a stronger presence than the latter.

- Giff was better off as a 'force of nature' antagonist rather than an 'active participant' antagonist. I wish they had kept him as just being some sort of 'power source' to use, make him more 'unearthly' in that he doesn't have a reason to do what he does, he just does, and there's no explanation for it, because he doesn't talk.

- Vail needed to do more. After he appeared he... was just kind of there as a menace. For someone so arguably important to the story, he didn't get the proper treatment that he needed. Especially Kamen Rider Vail, that suit only appeared ONCE in the show, and in a series of specials, and is just felt like a waste.

- With the cast as a whole, I like them a lot. I think they're all great, and that they did their best with what they got.

The Plot: The first arc was the strongest when the stakes were more personal, but when they started to become wider in scope, that's when it got weak. And whenever the plot returned to being personal, it got REAL strong, like with the Destream vs. Crimson Vail fight and the final 'fight' between Revi and Vice. I feel like if it had stayed close to keeping the conflicts personal, we would've had a greater and stronger show. The character moments are its greatest strength, while its outer threats are its greatest weakness. As is, with the flaws it has, it just goes to being average.

The Designs: I love all of the designs we got from the show. Even the ones that are hated like KR Revice and Over-Demons. The monster designs were great, too, even Giff and his pimp outfit (though his design definitely affected his fight scenes, and probably could've gone with a more fight-friendlier design).

Overall: I won't say that Revice is my favorite season, but that it still has some great stuff in it. I'd say that it'd just be worth watching scenes rather than entire episodes, since a great scene/moment might be dragged down by less great moments. I'd say... 3.5 out of 5/5.5 out of 10 for me.

I do think that people are being a bit too harsh, especially from what I've seen concerning what some fans have been saying to Kinoshita. People need to take a step back and relax from that, it's unnecessary.
