For me the best toku moments of the year was from akibaranger. Seeing the Akagi transform and fight in reality for the first time was so brilliant. I think it’s the most dramatic sentai scene I’ve seen and I think that largely thanks to the fact the show is largely a parody it’s shocking to see such seriousness from the show you almost can't help but be swept up by it.

outside of that though this has been a kind of meh year for toku for me, I still need to finish gokaiger and fourze but near the end of this year I’ve been watching Godzilla films, so far I’ve only seen 1954, Godzilla returns and vs. biolante since I'm excited for the monsterarts coming now. I'm planning on marathoning the rest of the heisei films over the New Year night with some friends.
