I picked this bad boy (SMP Alternative Destiny Gunbuster) up recently. I've wanted a Gunbuster kit for about 5 years now, ever since I saw one on display while in Japan. I finally own one now, and I've gotta say...I think it's my favorite model kit that I've ever built. The detail in the pieces is insane, the pre-painted parts look gorgeous, almost every sprue is either undergated or positioned in a way so that you won't see the nub marks, and it has great articulation. I didn't buy it when it came out because I wanted a more traditional Gunbuster kit, preferably one that transformed, but man this is so nice. I'm actually glad I waited, because now that I have Godhand nippers and some glass files, I did a much better job than I would have when it released.

I've got a Mini-pla ZyuOh King coming in within the next few days, but I almost don't want it anymore because nothing will compare to this. (Of course, I actually do still want it, and am excited for it to arrive )
