I have a few ideas for what Da-Paan's disqualification could mean:

A) He's counted as a civilian death and brought back to life as plain old Kanato with no memories of the Desire Grand Prix; but unlike the other Riders and many other civilians, he isn't invited to play in the next round of the Desire Grand Prix.

B) He's dead dead, deader than dead, deadified, dead from the neck up, dead from the neck down; much like Shirowe and Ginpen, he's not coming back to life. It's just that he was killed by the DGP as a consequence of getting last place.

C) He's been turned into a Jamato. This one isn't technically mutually exclusive with B; I've been thinking for a while that Riders who die or get disqualified might be getting turned into the very Jamato that their surviving peers are fighting.
