Kind of a slap in the face of the collectors to constantly reissue figures/cash-grabs until it?s no longer fun to get them. But not everyone is a Toy Collector, some just get what they like and move on. And Rider is definitely not the only line I collect that CONSTANTLY abuses their fans (ANY Godzilla line from ANY maker) with pointless (for moi wallet & I ) cash-grab reissues. Also, I use my collecting to control my rampant OCD.
I started late with my SHF Kamen Rider collection. I usually collect base form, secondary, tertiary riders, and even the whole cast if I like them enough. Reissues gave me the opportunity to buy figures which I have missed because I wasn't in the hobby back then and getting the figures from the secondary market is either too expensive / no stock available where I'm from.
Collectors should be happy that there are reissues, especially for newer fans of the franchise. Reissues give newer fans the opportunity to get the figures that they want. Newer fans breathe new life into the franchise and give more sales to the franchise too. Complaining about reissues makes it look like gatekeeping newer fans. Nobody cares how long you have been a toy collector. I'm also sorry that your OCD is essentially forcing you to buy figures you don't want, hence your resentment, but that is pretty much a you-problem that may be helped by seriously talking to a therapist or someone who can help or something.
