I wrote that the excess population is in big cities. At the same time, small towns and villages are dying out. I enjoy it, but the show obviously has flaws. Kotaro is one of them, but none of the previous adult versions have a good main character, so I'm not that disappointed. In general, my favorite part of the show is flashbacks, where there were practically no fights, so I think it's not about them.
