It's a division in the fandom I noticed a lot when covering all of those Legend Rider movies a while back: there are fans who tolerate the beginning parts of films to get to the explosive finales, and there are fans who tolerate the explosive finales so they can enjoy the beginning parts. I'm definitely in the latter camp, but that's just my tastes.

Yeah, I got teased by some friends earlier today when I was confused as to whether the 22-minute file I was about to watch was the full movie or not. They're like Same As Sentai, and I'm like I Don't Know Them. I feel like someone turning up on the boards and wondering if they're going to make toys out of these belts and weapons. Please enjoy my naivete!

I think he sort of did? Before I even saw his face, when a slouchy Falchion was dragging his sword behind him as he lurched away from the camera, I was like I Know That Body Language From Somewhere. It's totally the same way Jin drags his belt in Amazons! That felt like an intentional choice in production, and it made me laugh when I found out it was Jin.
