I can only add to the people who didn't think the Kamijo plot lined up. Yeah, for sure. This is a development that a different show would maybe consider seeding throughout its first arc a little more heavily: Add some structure to the SoL that the swordsmen chafe under; give Calibur a more mysterious or sympathetic point of view; add some ambiguity to the SoL's recent accomplishments. There're any number of things that would make Kamijo's accusations feel like they're explaining a suspicion that the viewer didn't want to acknowledge. Instead, we get Murderous Bad Guy saying I'm Not The Real Bad Guy and then getting killed. It... it does not feature the cleanest escalation of its plot, no!
