Agreed; I definitely would've preferred if the reveal came for us, the IRL audience, at the same time as it did for the characters. Plus, it felt (at least to me) like there wasn't much evidence prior to this episode that pointed towards Sae being the Desire Star? If anything, Neon was my next prediction after Daichi was revealed to not be Desire Star, followed by Ace.
