Ha ha, OH GOD. Yeah, I can sort of see it. It's got that Ren thing of just being the most obvious way to play a scene, and never finding enough nuance to make that performance worth revisiting every episode. You'd think the performer would try and add some sympathy to Reika's demands, a whole I Don't Like It Either But It's Our Job thing maybe. But Reika's every scene is like she has a metaphorical gun to the SoL's heads, and it's making it way too easy for some of them to grow suspicious.

I guess what I'm most aggravated at with the Reika storyline is that it's removing a lot of the ambiguity of the situation; the sense that Touma might be wrong about this. The best part of this Touma Vs SoL plot was when Touma was acting off of instinct, and his friends just couldn't make that leap with him. Now, it's so much more blunt, and it doesn't feel like it demands as much faith from Touma's friends.
