Kamijo cursing Kento to be tortured with maddening visions in a dimension of shadows, but also feeling bad about it and hoping someone else will correct his poor decision-making through means that he did not bother to explain, and then it all going sideways because he was just like You Get The Gist and no one could follow-up because he died... that is maybe the most Kamijo thing I've ever heard. I'm not sure if I hate it or love it.

It's really great. For a show still suffering under COVID restrictions, they really went out there to give the audience little snippets of the hero's failing to stop different apocalypses. I don't know if anyone else read House of X/Powers of X, but it reminded me a little bit of Moira's lives, and how in each one she tried a slightly different path (different allegiances, mostly) while still ending up in the same doomed fate. Very haunting!
