??? I don't get what you're saying here. Are you suggesting that it's not laudable for a character to rescue someone from depths of depression? How would that not be a moral that's worth following?

I think it speaks to Touma's empathy, sure, but also his acknowledgement of individual complexity. Kamijo was both a villain to Touma and a man to be idolized: a hero Touma literally dreamt about. Kamijo wasn't always Calibur, and it's nice of Touma to keep that version alive somewhere.

Sadly, it didn't make much of an impact. I, uh, I actually had to go back and see if his suit had actually changed or not! It's nice that we could get a more powerful Legeiel for Emotional Primitive Dragon's debut fight, but it's not like Legeiel had any cool new tricks up his sleeves. He was just tougher to detonate.
