I don't know how surprising Mei Uses Her Editorial And Promotional Skills is supposed to be as a story development, though? I'd say it's fairly consistent with Mei's established character. It's my favorite thing about her involvement, that she's editing and promoting for a superhero, in order to save the world?

It's a nice moment, and right up there with Takeru Hugs A Villain So Well An Apocalypse Stops as uniquely enjoyable tokusatsu finales.
