Unfortunately, I don?t think we?re going to. Character nuance is rarely Takahashi?s forte, and the show had made it perfectly clear that Mika Ukiyo is completely superfluous to Ace?s quest for Mitsume, so the story has no reason to show her.

It?s a shame, because I think a message about appreciating what you have and acknowledging the real love that Mika most presumably have for him would be great. I just don?t think the show will ever go there.
