Interesting! I'd wanted to put the Vail stuff after the show, similar to the Rogue and Thouser specials, but maybe it's more necessary than I'd thought? I'd love to hear if this is a consensus choice!

Vice is a lot of fun, yeah. I think he's maybe a little more Deadpool than Venom (he's more openly comedic than Venom), but I see where the comparison comes from. Honestly though, he slots pretty cleanly into the Ankh/Momotaros dynamic of Chaotic Helper, where he's going to be as frustrating as he is crucial to detonating monsters. More than that, though, I like how he helps illustrate how much Ikki is maybe not letting out to the people around him? Vice says everything he thinks as soon as he thinks it, while Ikki is determined to be the good son who doesn't make waves. (At a bathhouse, even!) I don't know, just my initial read.

(My favorite characters so far are the mom and the dad. I like how singularly goofy the dad is without being Hiiro's dad from Ex-Aid, and I loved the closing gag of the mom being furious that everyone came to visit her in the hospital instead of keeping the business running.)
