Yeah, agree. One of the reasons I was ok with Saber's first arc having very basic MotW plots. It felt like a conscious stepping back and realizing that they wouldn't be able to do them justice.

That said, I like the Geats approach way more, where the MotW stuff is the main focus for the most part while the dominos are being set up.
