I admit I barely remember this episode beyond Kagero beating some random shmucks and making them his minions and one of them wearing one of Banjo‘s clothes.

Besides that?

Yeah, got basically nothing.

This really didn’t leave any sort of impact on me, probably because of how little I connected to any of the characters yet. They all have been incredibly one-note and really not shown themselves as likeable yet. Including Daiji who this entire thing revolves around. He‘s been mostly envious of Ikki and not much beyond. And that is a problem I have with the show in general, it repeats instead of developing something but confuses that for depth. We rarely get new angles on things, we just get the same angle on repeat.

So, yeah, not exactly bad, but completely forgettable, which is kinda worse.
