Sure! I think that does come across in the episode, and I made sure to note it. (I'm always trying to be fair with these shows!) Ikki's side of things is 100% him not giving Daiji the space and support to be his own hero, leading to Daiji inadvertently becoming a villain. My problem is less in how the Kagerou situation resolves, than in how the root cause is sort of ignored. This didn't happen after Episode 1, this envy and self-loathing of Daiji's; it was there for years. A resolution that even partially suggests that Daiji just needed a win is... I feel like it's underselling how toxic Daiji's comparisons to others are. Maybe this is something the show will continue to explore. I hope so! I think it's a compelling character arc! But they sort of glossed over in Episode 10, and that was an issue for me.

Thanks so much for the alternate viewpoint, though! I'm also a Revice fan, and it's neat to hear what other fans got out of this arc.

Oh, gosh, I was very much the opposite. Geats is easily my favorite Reiwa show, and possibly my favorite Kamen Rider show period. Sorry to hear it didn't work for you!
