Gai died only becuase Joe died. Plus, it was at the end of the series back when Sentai didn't do team crossovers. When the story was over it was over. There wasn't much of a backlash because people understood the homage and because the shows was already over eitherway. Zyuranger still had 5-8 episodes after Burai death. Plenty of time to send Toei hate mail before the show ended even for the 90's.



Anyways, just becuase a character is used sparingly doesn't mean the writer hated him. It only means that the writer is trying to write a story his/her way. By using Burai sparingly, it made him more interesting. I like the amount of screen time that Burai gets. I like that he dies and stays dead.It's far more rememberable that way.

I've been watching the GUIS subs and they're perfectly fine. Given how long it will take TVN to finish it, there's really no reason not to go with the GUIS version.

Besides, GUIS is the better sub group anyways
