Personal observation I think it has more to do with significant moments of their 100-year history. We have the OGs Mickey and Minnie, Snow White and Tiana repping the 2D Disney princesses, Woody the beginning of their Pixar era, Simba the 90s 2D era, Moana and Elsa the Pixar princesses, Iron Man the MCU, and Grogu Disney Plus.
