This is gonna end up being a real I Was Saying Boo-Urns situation, isn't it? I can't disagree with any accusations of George's development into a series-ending foe coming off a little rushed, but I think the Ikki Amnesia stuff being the last real obstacle for the family to face is poignant and dramatic. There's an aspect of it that's as basic and primal and universal as anything -- how do we care for a family member with special needs -- but there's also the core conflict of Ikki's self-sacrifice being more damaging to his family than anything the villains might be up to. That's a series-long problem that's never been adequately addressed, and it's got so much basis in choice and decision-making that I'm really interested in how it resolves.

But I'm okay being one of the weirdos who likes how this show treats its characters! Thanks for the fun jokes and skit!
