People who don't receive the familial love they need usually look for it in others instead. Like how Gou sees his honorary big bro Shinnosuke as the male role model that Banno wasn't, same for Rintarou to Ogami and Makoto to Ryu. Huh, this is surprisingly common for Secondaries. It's never too late to be a parent or older sibling to somebody who needs one.
