And Miu simply does not experience this, and therefore thinks rationally and refuses him, at the same time checking how attached he really is to her and whether he will switch to another, as was the case in the early episodes.

I think the bit of dialogue that makes this clear for me is Shun admitting that he was only originally dating Miu because his dad basically told him to get with her, and that's also why he bounced to her best friend. But since then, he's developed feelings beyond that. I can totally believe this is Shun, out from under his dad's thumb, dealing with his first proper crush. I think he does honestly like Mio as a person, not just as the idea of "Queen" or because she's pretty, but he's acting selfishly and not putting her first because, well, he's still an 18 year old.

Meanwhile, because I looked at the episode list and realised I was meant to be watching a movie right now, I instead did the Net Movies.



Now this is the kind of V-Cinema content I can get behind.
