This even extends to Keiwa, where Kanato genuinely tries to emphatize with him and make him feel welcomed, but ofc for sinister reasons of having more people to burn the world. Albeit he'd also point out their atrocities in patronizing way, when Keiwa denies their similarities, yet as Kanato points out, he also sacrifices other people's happiness, showing lack of regard for the world, for his family. I guess Kanato's purpose is one of the steps to redeem Keiwa, by pitting him against someone they have a low opinion with, though he was self-righteous at first to deny that, he makes more effort to not be similar to Kanato.
I like how Kanato was quick to point out the similarity between him and Keiwa, in their apathy towards the world as long as they get what they want, also showing that he has some level of talent for reading people. It's fittingly ironic though, that Kanato gloating too much inadvertently ends up making it worse for himself, as Keiwa immediately doubts his decision when the genocide panda starts praising him as a fellow "enlightened" misanthropist. That doubt leads to a glimmer of hope in Ace's world, allowing him to obtain the power to undo all the chaos and misery that Beroba and Kanato wanted to keep going.

Daichi seems to be in general more subdued after his brutal beatdown by Keiwa that left him bedridden, experiencing despair about having his creation and invention ruined. Ace explains his despair as him feeling guilt from absorbing other people's joy via their memories, and that means experiencing those joy while feeling guilt to rob it from them by murdering them. Of which Ace claims the only way to be happy is to atone for that, which he seems to.. consider it when they left. Ironically, this seems to be implementing "changing people by force" solution, at least about Daichi becoming less insufferable lately, not redemption, despite that the later Geats vs Tycoon fight being done to defy that.
Damn, I couldn't take Ace's claim seriously. Not only does it violate the "show don't tell" rule, as Daichi lacks any visible remorse, but the logic behind it is also dumb. Memories =/= emotions. Furthermore, personal emotions =/= empathy. Evolt successfully gained human emotions, but he instead became worse due to his ability to feel anger in defeat and happiness in tormenting the heroes. So a psychopath like Daichi only gaining memories shouldn't change anything. If Ace turns out to be right, I think that would be Mary Sue and almost as contrived as Mitsuzane's "redemption". I was also surprised about Michinaga's offended reaction to Daichi's self-flattery, as Michinaga's usually one to expect people being a**holes.

Huh, I guess I have the unpopular opinion of liking Tsumuri's goddess outfit better.
