No, not really? The hallway dialogue makes sense because it's two characters on an emotional high where one of them needed to tell the other what they're serious about what they genuinely felt. Not to mention 44 is basically the accumulation and end of Neon's character arc.

The shopping scene is basically a d?nouement to that, to show that the two of them are on their way to reconnecting after everything that happened. It's not a scene where either of them are emotionally charged at all until the fight with Kanato.

Sure, but another part of that is how people can still judge those desires and actions, but never the person. And suffice to say, I'd suggest finding a different desire like Daichi is doing now like in 47.
