Strawman, because not immediately rescuing (but would happen shortly after) doesn't equal not care (which is more like leaving them be forever). My point was more like this isn't the end of the series yet and don't talk as if nothing would be touched upon again as if it's actual end.

It kinda sounds like how the parents have always treated her well before but Neon not appreciating those gestures enough (until realizing it now how much they love her), rather than, then being shitty and never actually gave her a proper love before. I felt like it's done to spite on those who are merely not hating and throwing shades on Geats constantly. Like to demonstrate what is the series "teaching" (in their eyes) to you to prove their point of this being 'depraved series' or such so it'd turn you off and have you join them or something?
