[Sh Ranger]

Episode 1:

Looks like anybody who was worried about the Morphin' Masters bailing the Rangers out again can relax now. Bajilia managed to capture all six of them in the same place, which is a pretty big boast for a villain we only just met! I was also surprised to see that Black, Yellow and Pink were even alive, considering how Red mentioned that they'd lost some of their members and this is our first time seeing them outside of flashbacks. Does that mean there used to be even more than six?

Either way, the Rangers won't be defeating Zedd with any manufactured miracles this time. Pretty much everything goes wrong for them here, to the point that getting the Cosmic Fury Zords feels more like a reprieve than a victory. So, not only are the Masters captured, but Ollie has been brainwashed again, Zayto who was revived less than half an hour ago has been flung to unknown space and Javi had to vaporize his right arm to summon those aforementioned Zords.

Episode 2:

Fortunately, they also have Billy and Mick helping out now. Billy and Solon made a new prosthetic arm for Javi (which is in fact that arm we saw in the poster), while Mick is searching the local galaxies for Zayto. I wonder how Javi would get along with Dillon, a fellow cyborg Black Ranger with little sister. How will Warden Buzzkill react when he finds out what happened?

It's humorous how Aiyon treats Billy as a junior, even after the other Rangers point out that Aiyon was unconscious for most of his long life. I appreciate how the comedy seems more balanced here, like even Jane and J-Borg don't take too much screentime away from the serious plot. Squilia being a streamer isn't something I expected either, but it kind of works in Mucus' and Slyther's absence (hope they come back!). Look at her Lord Zedd shirt!

Somehow, the situation gets even worse for the Rangers. It's basically a repeat of the Dino Fury Season 1 finale with Dinohenge getting destroyed, but of course, no Master Green to throw them a save. Only the triceratops statue gets spared due to Ollie still being brainwashed. Solon had to emergency transport the base to another galaxy and without the Rangers' powers, they're stuck there, with Fern.

Episode 3:

Amelia is red now and guess what, there's a perfectly good explanation for that.... Which we actually get to hear! I had already accepted her as Cosmic Fury Red based on the leadership qualities she displayed in Dino Fury, but it's cool how these 3 episodes draw attention to that by forcing her to take Zayto's place. The way she takes charge of saving Ollie and trying to cure him and being supportive of emotionally distressed Aiyon. Seems like the only one who didn't see those qualities was Amelia herself, but I think the Morphin' Grid was right to choose her for sure.

Kudos to Billy as well for creating the Cosmic Fury powers and I guess, giving all those fans who were ticked off by the dinosaur motif someone to blame, haha. And y'know what, I'll just say it, I actually don't mind the new suits, generally speaking. I'll even say that I prefer them to the Kyuranger suits, which is kind of a low bar IMO!

Evil Ollie is pretty interesting to watch, with how Ollie is already known to be a smug know-it-all a**hole sometimes and then the evil part turns that up even further. Like, I think the actor does a good job making him seem intimidating and deceptive as a temporary villain in a way that I didn't get from Evil Javi or Izzy. He reminds me a lot of Evil Tommy actually.

This was totally a strong start! Looking forward to watching the next few episodes!
