Boshimar really was a heroic and kind man who died protecting Gira. He deserved better for sure. Now it's heavily implied that the despicable Kamejim personally killed Corsus as well, immediately after killing Boshimar. I mean, I have little sympathy for Corsus, but nevertheless, he was loved by his son Racles. Kamejim took so much from Gira and Racles on that day.

My questions about Gira have been answered and so much more. We knew that Gira is Racles' little brother, but turns out he's also the illegitimate son of Dugded, who's basically Zeus now, huh. If you've seen enough of the royal fantasy genre, then you're probably already familiar with the classic "bastard prince" trope. Gira shares this with Burai from Zyuranger.

As Corsus didn't see Gira as his own, he instead saw fit to use him as a tool to defeat Dugded, by making Gira assimilate Shugod souls until he loses his free will.... Which means that Kuwagon's soul was hiding under our noses the whole time! Racles thinks he deserves to go down as the worst king in history, but honestly, Corsus taking away free will seems even worse.
