Man, hard disagree on the T-Rex Dopant suit. I'll normally accept the argument that it's tonally inconsistent with a grim story of betrayal, but a) it's Kamen Rider, so there's frequently going to be a jarring pivot from grounded emotional stakes to rubber monster suits, and b) it's just such a fun design. It reminds me of this guy from... I want to say Garo? I don't know, some other toku franchise.

Sure, and there's also the story reason in the second half of Shotaro giving his Gaia Memories back to Philip, since they're on the outs, so there's a reason why he'd lean harder on DX toys or whatever. It's just... boy, a lot of scenes of Shotaro playing with cool new toys this episode.
