Mutsumi reminded me a lot of Rena and Anne actually, especially with how early they started pairing her with Hikari (and Rena also got a few swimsuit scenes).

Jono's great. I really wish they'd done better by her.

If anything his arc was the team realize where they were inadequate! But he reminded me of Captain Hibiki, just animated. I think he had a bit of a rough/harsh start but over time when he starts settling in I think he became a good captain and bounced off the team well.

Especially because he always singles Tobe out!
