Yeah, this is a story that's as noir as one of these monster-of-the-fortnight stories is likely to get. The whole thing's a bummer, no one really learns anything, and a manipulative scumbag basically gets away scot-free. It's just a story about the danger of vengeance, and the happy ending is I Don't Know Maybe Sachi Gets Out Of Her Coma At Some Point And Moves On With Her Life. (Shotaro is turning into a big fan of epilogues that are someone else's problem at some indeterminate point in the future!) As a Kamen Rider superhero story, it doesn't really give us a rousing climax. As crime noir, it does a good job, though.
