And to me it's not really all that far-fetched of an idea, to have anime characters dressed up in clothes/armor inspired by Kamen Rider. Fans already did that with Rider-tans, so this is just that like, except with hot men instead.

I like him. Name scheming reminds me of Hibiki, though this guy's clearly Momotaros' themed.... maybe it's gonna be a little more like "each of these characters reference multiple Riders instead of just one" sort of deal? I can dig that if that's the case.

I get making something different for a change, but what's the point of it being an official spin-off to something if it isn't recognizable at all.

'Cuz this isn't directly meant for pure Toku-fans, this is meant for an audience more like the Twisted Wonderland game, where all the characters are inspired by like, Disney villains. And they're all hot anime men.

Also, I feel like you meae nt the VTuber thing as a negative, but as a VTuber fan, I think it's a positive. I like them, they're a fun take. Sure, would've loved to see full helmet versions (and they could go that route if they choose to where different evolutions have different art), but it's not a deal breaker.

Especially since I don't play app games if they don't have a global/English version, 'cuz I don't like jumping through hoops to try playing games I don't understand.

This is a game created for an entirely specific and separate fanbase from Tokubros, it's clearly an otome game made for the hardcore Fujoshis, so yeah, not too surprising tbh.

To be fair I've seen an overlap of fans who play Twisted Wonderland (same sort of premise as Ride Kamens, in that again, they're hot anime men versions of existing characters) and toku fans on Tumblr, so it's not like there's none.

Also, considering that the reason why attractive men are hired to play Kamen Riders is because of mothers watching over their kids, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that Ride Kamens is done similarly, in that it's targeted to older sisters who're also watching over their siblings.

Honestly I'm starting to also think that they could be references to multiple Riders, too, since Araki's name is more like a Hibiki Rider name than one you'd think would be used for a Momotaros-inspired character. Just got to wait and see more reveals.
