Oh yeah, we're definitely risking a certain group of people getting offended by these suggestions. I get the impression that we've had similar experiences, so for the sake of constructive healthy debate, I'll admit once more that Mesnick does have a fair point. Like, for example, Espada is more important than Durandal and in the same way, Stacaesar is more important than Hakaizer.

However, unlike Secondaries and Sixths (usually) who are clear in the way they're marketed, there are often multiple Riders and Rangers per season who could claim the title of Tertiary and Seventh. I mean, Sentai doesn't even have the helpful Oronamin C commercial! So I think the only way this can work consistently is if each season grants at least 2 vacancies for those positions, likely more for Sevenths to include the full Noto trio.

I'd personally argue that Geki Violet is more like a Big One type, as his mecha is only another right leg, while Chopper gets a giant carrier Henkei mecha. Regarding Kyuranger, Kamiya Hiroshi mentioned that the logic behind Phoenix Soldier is that he's the 12th member, which is 6x2, implying that Draco and Ursa are also like Black Bison and Green Sai.

How we'll categorize Boon/Bun/Boom Black and Orange will probably depend on the show's first opening credits. Since they're in all the pre-advertising for the series, it's pretty clear they're intended to be core cast members. I mean, with Lupinranger VS Patranger, there's an actual reason why those Sentai look different, since they are different Sentai. There's only one Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger anyway.

I was doubtful when Bun Black and Orange were absent from the first poster, but then they've been in pretty much everything else since, so yeah, I think this is an apt comparison, rather than Black Bison and Green Sai who joined Liveman much later than the first core 3.
