The duo didn't actually speak, but gestured and expressed their thoughts and feelings by physically jiggling and sounding with rhythmic groans and moans like a dry gurgle. There was a Family Guy joke a couple of years back which referenced at least one of them (and the rhinoceros).

I had to work late tonight, and found this bit of levity quite welcome. It's as interesting as it is hilarious. I even impressed a coworker with the story.

That's alright. Sad part is, that Haim Saban gave the credit to someone else, even though technically Mr. Betts was the one who came up with the idea. As I told him after he shared the story with me, "That's low". Which reminds me, he's not the only one who wore the Green Ranger suit. There's another stuntman that I spoke with online and he actually wore the White Ranger suit on both the show and the film, and he temporarily wore the Ninjetti Falcon for the film as well in one particular scene for the 95 film. Both he and Erik Betts were on the same show as well as another one post Power Rangers.
