The scene @ 06:49 where Houtarou's reforging Steamliner makes me think he's gonna scream, "AAAMAZONNNNN!!!", haha.
Makes sense that the rings can transmute as well. Whatever extra power that provided must've been necessary for Houtarou to survive his henshin in to Iron Gotchard, considering how Kyoka was against it until Fuga showed up. It's the kind of dangerous forbidden technique only a....

alchemist could handle. Weird how Fuga is suddenly here, but I guess this'll be explained later. For now, it's reward enough to see him and Rinne finally reunited and without rancor. Rinne says she hates him, but the hug clearly betrays her true feelings.

A serious moment, but a little humiliating for Suzuya that he was easily killed by two swipes from a Rubik's Cube. Houtarou can take a lot more beating than that, likely due to him already being a high school jock. He has the body and determination to make Suzuya's dream a reality and Minato only needs to realize that he was right to believe in Houtarou's power to oppose Geryon. Like alchemy, such a resistance can only succeed when everything comes together.

Huh? But Geryon specifically said that he wouldn't erase Minato's memories, rather exploiting that memory of despair to break his will to resist. Anyway, I think it kind of explains Minato's betrayal. If anybody's going to attack his students, he believes it may as well be him, since he can exercise the restraint to ensure they survive. We can see this when Dread protects them from the Malgam. It's pathetic and halfhearted, but at least confirms that Minato is a good person deep down.

Geryon even mentioned clearly that he wants Minato eliminated since he's no longer useful, which is exactly what Lachesis was afraid would happen to her and her older sisters. Now she knows this is not only a possibility, but an inevitability, as soon as Geryon gets what he wants. Minato and Lachesis both fear his power, but if they seriously conspired, they might be able to do something. Like smuggle the Ride Chemy Cards out of the base, which would be ironic considering how the smugglers were the bad guys in the first 2 arcs.

They do look kind of similar, now that you mention it. However, Minato is apparently the same age as Kyoka, so unless Tamami is in to much younger men, it seems unlikely.
