I think the problem is that bandai is trying to market modern sentai to older collectors whereas most older collectors don't really like modern sentai as much as they do older entries. The seihou gokai red was a good start, but bandai fouled it up by using rubber on the torso, causing paint rub and paint transfer from the collar to the helmet just from contact. It became far less desirable and its price dropped a decent bit. I think if they focused on fan-favorite series and ironed out the kinks before release, sentai figuarts have a chance of not dying out for a second time.

We will hopefully get don murasame soon at least since it was put on display.
