The toyline clearly has no appeal in their minds. It was so limited that Dino Fury Zords are still taking up space at Walmart and Target.
A friend shared a post that suggested that the Entwistle Reboot is stuck in development hell and that Dino and Cosmic were merely stopgaps to keep franchise interest alive. Regardless of the post's validity, there isn't much out there right now to hold anyone's interest.
I'm on the fence about a blanket sell-off, but I'm disappointed in Hasbro at the very least.
Yeah, and the hype seems to have died down these days. It had its moment to shine again during the 2010s when nostalgia marketing was at an all-time high. Honestly, at this point, I wouldn't mind Power Rangers going on a decade-long hiatus and come back stronger with people who could do it justice whether it's still Hasbro or some other company in the future. Because right now, I think it needs a break much like how Kamen Rider did during the mid to late 90s. It's like there is no core vision for it at the moment.
