Biggest takeaway from seeing this episode again? I love that Shotaro and Ryu chose to confront Saeko in the opening credits to Agito.

And then they didn't appear again until Fourze. And after that we didn't see them until a crossover movie in... I want to say Ex-Aid? Definitely over-promised and under-delivered.

Yes and it's possibly the creepiest way they could have come up with to hide that. After spending so much time keeping Shroud's face hidden you would think they'd have "just don't face the camera" down to a science.
